After a year with Team Heretics, Vetheo is set to join Vitality
Midlaner Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié has reached a verbal agreement with Team Vitality in the LEC, sources tell Sheep Esports. This move completes the offseason for the French organization.
Vitality's offseason for the midlane has been pretty long. At first, they were one of the organizations persuing Midlaner Emil "Larssen" Larsson before he decided to remain with Infinite Reality. Following this move, Vitality also considered Midlaner Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer that ended up joining SK Gaming in the LEC.
Despite this, Vitality had numerous options to consider for the midlane. Midlaners Felix "Abbedagge" Braun, Kim "Gori" Tae-woo, and Kang "Tempt" Myung-gu were all under consideration. After a thorough evaluation process, the French organization has decided to commit to Vetheo.
With this move, Vetheo will reunite with Alexander "Carter" Cartwright. Both previously collaborated at Misfits Gaming in 2022, a year in which Vetheo earned an MVP award in the LEC. However, this decision was also endorsed by Vitality's new coaches, James "Mac" MacCormack and Patrick "Pad" Suckow-Breum.
While not a trade, Vetheo will be changing teams with Midlaner Luka "Perkz" Perković. Vetheo reached a verbal agreement with Team Heretics earlier in the offseason and is being transferred without a buyout. On the other hand, Perkz became a free agent following the termination of his contract with Vitality.
