aspas sets VALORANT BO3 kill record with 82 eliminations at VCT Americas Kickoff 2025
The official kill record in a VALORANT best-of-three (BO3) is 82 eliminations, achieved by Erick "aspas" Santos during the VCT Americas Kickoff 2025. This impressive feat was accomplished on February 7, 2025, during a close match between MIBR and KRÜ Esports, where the Brazilian player delivered an extraordinary individual performance.
Unprecedented Efficiency in a BO3
What makes this performance even more remarkable is the average kills per round: aspas reached 82 eliminations in just 66 rounds, with no overtimes. For comparison, his previous record of 78 kills was set over 74 rounds, including a map that went into overtime (18-16). This new record not only highlights his ability to dominate a match, but also his incredible efficiency. Against KRÜ, he quite literally carried his team, ending with a +46 kill differential—far surpassing the individual stats of his teammates.

- Abyss: 29 / 9
- Split: 29 / 14

An Already Legendary Track Record
Before this performance, aspas shared the BO3 kill record (78) with Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto of ZETA DIVISION. With this new milestone, he now stands alone at the top in this category. But this isn’t his first time setting records: he was also once a co-holder of the BO5 kill record with 101 kills, before being overtaken by Kim "t3xture" Na-ra (105) and then Zheng "ZmjjKK" Yongkang from EDward Gaming, who currently holds the BO5 record with 111 kills, set during VALORANT Champions 2024.
With this latest performance, aspas further cements his status as one of the best duelists on the international stage. Known for his aggressive playstyle, he became a World Champion in 2022 with LOUD, standing out as one of the most prominent players in the world.
