The roster will involve two times major winner NBK
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the Indian organization Revenant are signing a Counter-Strike roster, starting with two times major winner Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, both coming from Falcons.
Nathan won two majors, the first one being DreamHack Winter 2014 with the French LDLC, which fielded French stars Richard "shox" Papillon, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer, Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux, and Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey, in which they beat Ninjas in Pyjamas in the grand final. The second major Schmitt won was the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, where he played for Envy, which included one of the best AWPers of his time, Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and current Vitality IGL Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, where they beat Natus Vincere in the grand final.
lauNX, who qualified for the IEM Rio major with the German organization Sprout, where they reached the Legends Stage, where they beat world-class teams such as BIG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Spirit, and Team Liquid.
Adelin "adeX" Nica, coming from IKLA, the Romanian 23-year-old played for MOUZ NXT back in 2022, his most notable recent achievement being a first-place finish at the A1 Gaming League Season 7, where they beat the Russian BetBoom in the final, 2-0.
Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom previously played for Vitality alongside the French sensation Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, where they won a couple of online events during the Covid-19 era, the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals and the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 Europe before he left for VALORANT. There, he started off in Liquid with his brother Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom—who was dubbed the "Headshot Machine" in Counter-Strike— placing 3rd-4th in the VALORANT Champions 2021 and 7th-8th in the VALORANT Champions 2022.
Kamil "reiko" Cegiełko, a 25-year-old Polish player who comes from Sprout, the organization that recently ceased operations, also played for Anonymo for about a year back in early 2023 and notably played alongside Polish legends such as Filip "NEO" Kubski and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, veterans from the famous Virtus.Pro line-up in HONORIS, the Polish organization established by the aforementioned legends.
As for the coaching staff, the team will be led to victory by Patrik "pakesZ" Rozsos, who previously coached Project G, the team which involved players such as Łukasz "mwlky" Pachucki, Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç, David "dav1g" Granado, who qualified for the Copenhagen Major with KOI, the organization founded by Gerard Piqué and Ibai, Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson, who previously played for big-name teams such as fnatic, Ninjas In Pyjamas and GODSENT. Project G also included Nikola "Dragon" Boskovic as well as former MOUZ NXT Hubert "szejn" Światły, who is currently playing for CPH Wolves. Helping him as an assistant coach is North American Cristopher "Jeebs" DeSantis, who was also his assistant coach in Project G and coached quality North American teams like Limitless, where he coached upcoming North American talent such as Josh "JBa" Barutt and South African Gareth "MisteM" Ries, who is currently playing for Young Ninjas. They have a proven track record of success in their respective roles.
