12 French clubs join forces to form a union to represent and protect them in government and economic matters
This Wednesday marked a major step in the structuring of French esports with the official creation of the Union Française des Clubs d'Esport Professionnels (UFCEP). This initiative brings together leading teams such as Karmine Corp, Team Vitality, Gentle Mates, and Solary, aiming to defend the collective interests of professional esports clubs in France. This initiative is not the first of its kind, as France Esports also exists to promote the development of Esports in the country.
The organization will serve as the primary point of contact for discussions with government officials, economic leaders, and institutional decision-makers. This unified approach aims to protect clubs, their players, and their brands while fostering the continued professionalization of esports in France.
