This marks the second roster change for Apeks, following florescent’s departure

The European chapter was short-lived. Peter "Governor" No, who joined Apeks this past March, is set to be replaced by the Norwegian organization, according to Sheep Esports sources. Active on the competitive scene since 2020, Governor first made a name for himself in North America's Tier 2 circuit. In 2024, he transitioned to the Pacific region and reached the highest level of competition—the VCT Pacific—under the banner of TALON. He qualified for Champions 2024 and competed in the 2025 Kickoff with the same team, but was recently let go following TALON’s decision to return to an all-Thai roster for Stage 1.

The American-South Korean player quickly rebounded, securing a new opportunity in a third region with Apeks. Having earned promotion to the VCT EMEA through Ascension 2024, the organization has struggled to find its footing at the top level of VALORANT in Europe. After being eliminated in the first round of the Kickoff, Apeks opted to replace Tautvydas "hype" Paldavicius with Governor. However, the results did not improve during Stage 1, where the team lost all five of its group stage matches. Since joining the league, Apeks has compiled a discouraging record of seven defeats and no wins.

In Search of a Sentinel

Governor’s departure is not the only roster move ahead of Stage 2. On Monday, Apeks officially announced the exit of Ava "florescent" Eugene, who made history just months ago as the first player from the Game Changers scene to reach VALORANT’s highest competitive tier. With nearly half the roster now in flux, the team is, according to our sources, currently in search of a new Sentinel to rebuild its foundation moving forward.
