Tatu has chosen to sign with FURIA despite interest from others
Pedro “Tatu” Seixas is set to join FURIA, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. FURIA was not the only team interested in the paiN Gaming Academy jungler with Leviatán also joining the race, as previously reported. The Argentinian organization supposedly gave a better offer to Tatu, who ultimately opted for the Panthers anyway. Since he is still under contract, FURIA must pay his buyout fee with only verbal agreements having been reached as of now.
Tatu, a promising young player in the Brazilian scene
Tatu has been making waves in the Brazilian League of Legends scene. In the last two years, he has won the CBLOL Academy twice and also won the inaugural Americas Challengers, the first international tournament between the Tier 2 leagues across the Americas.
paiN Gaming has chosen to not field an academy team for the foreseeable future and instead focus entirely on LTA South. As a result, most of their academy players have already announced that they are free to explore options for the 2025 season, including Tatu.
