Spooder, who made his name in the LVP Superliga this year, is set to join Movistar KOI
Muhanad "Spooder" Maitham Sharad has reached an agreement to join Movistar KOI in the LVP Superliga, according to Sheep Esports sources. Spooder played for Guasones and Rebels Gaming in the LVP this year, managing to qualify for the domestic grand finals with the former in Spring. Spooder's performance earned him a spot with Ramboot Club for the Iberian Cup — interestingly, RBT marks the third banner he's played under this year.
KOI also considered Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen and Marcin "iBo" Lebuda for the position but decided on the Swedish top laner in the end.
2024 was a largely disappointing Superliga season for Movistar KOI, managing to only make it to sixth and fifth place in the Spring and Summer playoffs, respectively. With ADC William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen and former FLY Challengers Head Coach Max "Raqo" Temminck set to join the team next year — per Sheep Esports reporting — KOI looks to be aiming significantly higher for the 2025 season.
