The german midlaner will come back to the LFL, but this time will play for Ici Japon Corp's
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, midlaner Daniel "Sertuss" Gamani has reached a verbal agreement with newly promoted Ici Japon Corp (IJC) in the LFL for next season. The German midlaner will replace Šimon "OMON" Řiháček, who will be joining BK ROG Esports, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
Sertuss is no stranger to the LFL fans, as he lifted the French trophy back in 2021 while playing for Misfits Premier. He will return to the French league to reclaim its throne, after having found success in the LVP with Los Heretics, but not having reached his goals in EMEA Masters.
Sertuss is a well-established midlaner within the European regional ecosystem. Having lifted the Prime League, LFL, and LVP trophies in the past, he has demonstrated — on various occasions — that he's capable of dominating the ERLs.
In 2022, he was even promoted to the LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) with SK Gaming, playing for 2 consecutive years and reaching a peak of 4th place in 2023 Winter Playoffs. His results with SK Gaming did not allow him to stay at Europe's highest level competition though, so he decided to explore new grounds with Los Heretics in the LVP, when their former midlaner Artur "Zwyroo" Trojan was promoted to the main roster in the LEC.
Sertuss has struggled to shine in the most important moments of his career, not finding success in the EMEA Masters or trying to advance far into the LEC Playoffs. Last season, Sertuss found himself in the same position. Winning convincingly both Summer and Winter Splits in the LVP and dominating his own role was not enough, as Los Heretics were not able to beat the French powerhouse BDSA in Summer, crushing their aspirations to win it all.
The German midlaner is set to join Ici Japon Corp (IJC), a team that was recently promoted to the LFL. The organization will be filling in Aegis's shoes, as they got relegated in the 2025 LFL Promotion tournament after losing 1-3 against Ici Japon Corp (IJC). Sertuss will look to reach new heights with the French organization. He will first try to recreate the success he found in Misfits Premier and then win the EMEA Masters once and for all.
Ici Japon Corp, which has had a short life as an organization, has been able to skyrocket their way from Division 2 to the LFL. Now they are looking to make a name for themselves with a new project in the LFL. Acquiring a regional star like Sertuss sets a spectacular foundation for the young organization to work with.
