Berlin International Gaming makes a big acquisition with former LEC mid laner Sencux!
Chres “Sencux” Laursen has reached a verbal agreement with Berlin International Gaming and will be the German organization’s Mid Laner in the Prime League, according to Sheep Esports Sources.
Formerly a LoL EMEA Championship (EU LCS at the time) Mid Laner, Sencux spent 2023 with MOUZ in the Prime League finishing in the middle of the pack with a 4th place finish in spring and a 5th place finish in summer.
A STORIED CAREER
The storied Danish Mid Laner has had a long career spanning over a decade, with the highlight of reaching the 2016 World Championship with Splyce after winning the 2016 EU LCS Regional Qualifier.
In subsequent years Sencux would compete in the EU LCS/LEC for the next 5 splits, on teams including Splyce, Misfits and Rogue, but dropped out of the LEC after a disappointing 2019 LEC Spring on Rogue.
Apart from 1 play-off series in the LFL and a 1 split stint in the LCL with Gambit Gaming in 2020, Sencux has spent the rest of his career in the ERLs on many teams including Riddle, Barrage, AGO Rogue, Astralis Talent and most recently MOUZ.
BIG IN 2024
The experienced Mid Laner will join BIG with 19 year old Turkish ADC Mert "ANDARIEL '' Kılıç, with hopes of improving from the organization's results of 3rd place in spring and 4th place in summer.
