Franco-Algerian Top Laner Joins Joblife.
Toplaner Mehdi "Potent" Ahmed Bouchaffra has reached a verbal agreement with Joblife to compete in the LFL Division 2, sources tell Sheep Esports on Wednesday. The team also considered Markus "ACD" Käpp, before settling with the French rookie.
A Competitive Debut
Most known for his impressive mechanical skills on the European solo queue ladder, Potent has made a name for himself in the competitive landscape. While the player has had much experience competing in influencer tournaments, he remains a rookie when it comes to playing in professional settings. Expected to be strong individually, this move should prove to be an interesting challenge for him.
In the past, Potent achieved as high as rank 1 on the ladder, with a peak of 1877 LP. However, Potent known for doing so primarly with Fiora. As work towards his professional play debut, Potent has started practicing other champions in soloQ. He went as far as climbing on an account called "NoFioraPotent" on Europe West.
While Joblife achieved good results during the spring season with Turkish top laner Erkmen "NuQ" Erdoğdu, it has now decided to make changes to its roster, perhaps in the hopes of contending for the top spots in the league. Last split, JL ended the playoffs in third position, unfortunately losing to Ici Japon Corp, despite having ended the group stage in second place.
At this time, the future of NuQ is currently unknown. Sources indicate that the team is also exploring its options in the support position, though it has not yet made a final decision.
