GameWard have completed their roster for next year's LFL
Midlaner Pengcheng "Peng" Shen has reached a verbal agreement with GameWard in the LFL, according to sources from Sheep Esports. This move not only finalizes GameWard's roster in the LFL but also solidifies the entire midlane pool for the league.
Additionally, this change marks one of the final moves of the LFL offseason, as all teams are now complete except for Karmine Corp Academy, which is still in need of a support player.
Peng endured a prolonged offseason, initially being considered by some ERL teams. After those early considerations not materializing, Peng emerged as a leading candidate for Joblife in the LFL Division 2. Eventually, the former Solary midlaner managed to secure a spot in the LFL, joining GameWard as the last team seeking a player for this position.
Former LEC players as well as Jonathan "Backlund" Bäcklund were also considered by GameWard and partly explain why securing a midlaner took so much time.
Fun fact: Peng is a big Kpop fan and this is his favorite artist.
