Proving Themselves
Getting their first shot at the Spanish ERL, the two players are poised to team-up for the first time in 2024. Despite never having played in a major ERL prior to this tenure, the two have shown strong performances in their respective local leagues and on the ranked ladder. Respectively, FGG peaked at 1426 LP this season while mihai reached 1155 LP. The two are now looking to prove themselves in the SuperLiga along with the new organization.
In 2023, Bot Laner Alexandru "Mihai" Mihai Zamfirache competed for ZETA in the LVP SuperLiga 2nd division. While the team did not find expected results and spent most of its year in 4th place, mihai was seen as a shining light of the struggling roster. Re-signing with the organization, he now aims to prove himself once more after a short tenure with Zero Tenacity during the winter split, with whom he won the Ultraliga Super Puchar (Pro-Am tournament).
For the British support, Gary "FGG" Clarke, the objective is to secure his first championship in a regular split. Having recently won the NLC Aurora Cup with Verdant, FGG is determined to break his curse and ascend to the top of the SuperLiga. Competing with eSuba in 2023, he participated in the Hitpoint Masters and reached the EMEA Masters Main Event in spring, qualifying through the play-in stage. With experiences in JDXL, Dusty, and Resolve, FGG has established himself as one of the premier supports in the Nordic region and now aims to replicate his successes in a major league.
Having just acquired a spot in the league's 1st division, ZETA is now poised to make a strong entry into the Spanish ERL. With the addition of storied Spanish mid laner Ismael "Miniduke" Martínez Cortés, the team is aiming to leave a strong first impression on viewers of the league and establish itself as one of the major organizations of the Iberian peninsula.
