The Turkish top laner is looking to prove himself in storied org Team GO
Top laner Eren "Lot" Yıldız has reached a verbal agreement with Team GO to re-join the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. The player was competing with Lucas "Badlulu" Piochaud for the spot before the French organization decided to side with him.
From Aegis to GO
Lot enjoyed a successful start to 2023 on LFL newcomers Aegis. Finishing 2nd in the regular season and 3rd in the subsequent playoffs, qualifying Aegis to the EMEA Masters Play-Ins where they qualified for the Group stage after beating Partizan Esports 2-1. In the Group stage however, Aegis faltered, getting knocked out in groups with a 2-4 record.
In summer Aegis couldn’t replicate their spring result, ending the regular season in 5th place and dropping 1-3 to Team GO in the first round of Playoffs, ending their season.
After a year in the LFL, the player will try to prove himself once more and show why he was among the top talents of the league. Ready to take on a new challenge, Lot is the final piece of the puzzle for GO.
In addition to Badlulu, the team also considered other players like Felix "Kryze" Hellström, Volodymyr "Maynter" Sorokin, and Onurcan "Ragner" Aslan.
