After two splits without playing, Kaiser will discover the LVP as he joins Los Heretics and remains with the organization for another year
As the LEC offseason comes to an end, Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser has officially found himself out of the league and landed in the LVP. The player has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Los Heretics in the LVP Superliga and will play as the team’s support, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. The veteran is coming off a challenging year in the LEC with Team Heretics, where he played only during the Winter Split before being replaced by Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus for the Spring Split and the remainder of the season.
A refuge after two challenging years in the LEC
Kaiser is a player who has experienced both great victories and tough defeats. At 26, the veteran first made his mark with Mousesports in the latter half of 2018. Dominating the German circuit, he secured top finishes in numerous tournaments, winning the ESLM Spring Split (the precursor to the Prime League) the following year. He also reached the semifinals of the Summer EMEA Masters, his best result in the competition. These achievements quickly earned him a promotion to the pinnacle of European competition: the LEC.
It was with MAD Lions that Kaiser enjoyed the most glorious chapter of his career. Spending three years with the team, he won both splits in 2021, ending the reign of Fnatic and G2 Esports—the only teams to have claimed the LEC title up to that point (except Alliance in 2014). During his time with MAD Lions, Kaiser qualified for Worlds every year and even reached the quarterfinals in 2021, where they fell decisively 3-0 to Damwon, the eventual finalists.
However, significant roster changes in 2022 saw MAD Lions struggling, with Kaiser among the players underperforming. Following a lackluster season, he joined Vitality in the offseason. There, he had a strong start, finishing 5th in Winter and 3rd in Spring, but the team completely collapsed in Summer, ending in 10th place. The disappointing finish crushed the roster's hopes of making Worlds, with Kaiser under heavy criticism for repeated mistakes.
Caught in the turmoil of a dysfunctional team and facing mounting scrutiny, Kaiser left Vitality and joined Team Heretics in 2024. However, his struggles continued, as he was benched in favor of Trymbi before the Spring Split began, following an unconvincing performance during the Winter Split.
Los Heretics completes their roster
The player thus makes his debut in the Superliga by joining the superteam that dominated the LVP throughout the 2024 season. Despite being a highly experienced player, fresh off five years at the highest level of European competition in the LEC, he will need to live up to the expectations placed upon him. He is stepping into the roster spot previously held by Alexandru “whiteinn” Kolozsvari, who has moved on to Barça Esports for the 2025 season.
To meet these expectations and honor this legacy, he will be joined by Sebastian "Tracyn" Wojtoń in the toplane, Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel in the jungle, Jan "SAJATOR" Zítek in the midlane, and Khalil “Rin” Sahraoui in the botlane.
Los Heretics' 2025 roster:
- Top: Sebastian "Tracyn" Wojtoń
- Jungle: Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel
- Midlane: Jan "SAJATOR" Zítek
- ADC: Khalil “Rin” Sahraoui
- Support: Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser
