Irrelevant will be replacing Adam as Team BDS's starting top laner.
Toplaner Joel "Irrelevant" Miro Scharoll has reached a verbal agreement to join Team BDS in the LEC, sources tell Sheep Esports on Saturday. Irrelevant will replace Adam "Adam" Maanane, who has been with the team since BDS joined the LEC two years ago. At the time of writing this article, Adam has yet to find a team for next year.
Irrelevant will be leaving SK Gaming, a team that saw disparate results all year — despite placing third in the Winter regular season and first in the Summer regular season, the team never placed above fifth in the playoffs or Season Finals. Irrelevant, however, drew praise for his strong individual performance and potential.

Per the Global Contract Database, Irrelevant's contract with SK Gaming will expire next month, opening him up to free agency as the most sought-after top laner on the market. Team Heretics and Rogue were among the multiple organizations hoping to secure him for their rosters ahead of the 2025 season, but BDS was Irrelevant's top choice — and he was theirs.
Team BDS finished in third place in the Winter, Spring, and Summer playoffs, and narrowly missed out on Worlds qualification by placing fourth in the LEC Season Finals. All year, BDS have been a step behind the highest echelon of competition in the LEC — Irrelevant, they hope, will help them bridge that gap.
As BDS makes its final decisions about its roster and coaching staff, Sheep Esports will report on any updates. To keep up with the offseason at large, check out the Sheep Esports Transfers Hub.
