Maltese rookie signs with Aegis for 2024!
AD Carry Gian "Hid0" Miguel Caruana has reached a verbal agreement with Aegis to join the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. The player previously competed for NORD Esports in the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC).
An Explosive Rookie in the LFL
Beginning his competitive career in the summer of 2023, Hid0 is one of the first Maltese players to ever go pro in League of Legends and, with this move, the first to join a major accredited ERL as a starting player. The AD Carry is one of the few European players able to boast about reaching the EMEA Masters in his very first split of play.
Joining NORD Esports in early June, Hid0 reached 2nd place in the NLC. During the Summer Split, the Maltese player scored himself 3 pentakills on top of his other feats, amassing a decent following in the process.
While Hid0's entry into the LFL is unexpected, it is important to note that the player was coached and scouted by Nicolas "Nicolas Perez" Perez, and Malaury "Malau" Restouble during his previous tenure; Both familiar names to French readers.
Despite an early exit in the EMEA Masters Play-In, Hid0 remains a very exciting rookie entering the 2024 season and could prove to be a very interesting player to watch.
Hid0 is the second reported member to have reached verbal agreement with the organization and will be paired with Đai-vinh "Veignorem" Lussiez in the bot lane.
Future of the previous Aegis AD Carry, Artjoms "Shiganari" Pervušins, is currently unknown at the time of writing this article.
