Fnatic, GIANTX, Rainbow7 and Geekay Esports were also interested
Lee “Hans SamD” Jae-hoon announced it this Thursday afternoon, “I’ll be in France next year.” According to Sheep Esports sources, BK ROG’s AD Carry will follow his compatriot and former teammate Jeon “Howling” Ho-bin at Ici Japon Corp for the upcoming LFL season. The South Korean player has also attracted interest from several teams this offseason: Fnatic, GIANTX, Rainbow7 and Geekay Esports.
Hans SamD had an exceptional 2024 in the LFL. Ranked as the second-best AD Carry in the league according to Sheep Stats, he was by far the standout player on his team. Although BK ROG finished fifth in both splits, the former Hanwha Life Esports player delivered several outstanding performances, especially on his Jhin, a champion not highly feared but one he mastered with flair. His performance against Gentle Mates in the Spring Split playoffs was also particularly memorable: in near 1v9 conditions, he delivered masterful games on Varus, achieving the highest score of the series (87/100) despite his team’s loss.
IJC’s roster is complete
Hans SamD seems to be a very good addition to Ici Japon Corp., rounding out a roster that includes several experienced players — Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani in midlane and Olivier “Prime” Payet as support — with a gamble in the jungle by bringing in rookie Theo “Theocacs” Sauda, the Summer 2024 NLC champion. After consecutive Div2 championships, Ici Japon Corp move up to the LFL with an ambitious and promising lineup, one that could well push them into the league’s upper ranks.
Ici Japon Corp’s reported 2025 roster:
Top: Jeon "Howling" Ho-bin
Jungle: Theo “Theocacs” Sauda
Mid: Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani
ADC: Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon
Support: Olivier "Prime" Payet
