The team will also be joined by former professional jungler Kim "Trick" Gang-yun, serving as their head coach.

Rebuilding For Summer

Narrowly missing qualification for the EMEA Masters, GIANTX PRIDE has impressed many within the Iberian region in the spring season. Ending the first half of the year in 3rd place, the team is now hoping to close the gap with the top teams in the region and make a push toward the top of the league, despite promoting three of its members to the LEC. With Th3Antonio, Juhan, and Nicolas Perez now moving up, the team will have to make a serious push to continue its upward trajectory.

Coming in as the team's first two additions, the South Korean duo of Peach and Trick are now set to fill the roles of jungler and head coach respectively. The two experienced members are expected to bring a sense of veteran leadership to the team, as both have several years of experience under their belts. The team likely hopes to continue the powerful mid/jungle duo established last split with Jeong "Feisty" Seong-hoon.

On the other hand, R4VEN, a 24-year-old Polish top laner, will once more have to prove his strengths as he enters this new tenure. In the past, the player was most known for his time with Rebels Gaming, Case Esports, and Vitality.Bee. Having only attended the EMEA Masters once in 2021, the top laner will have to step up if he wishes to compete with the best players in the league. Last split, R4VEN ended his Superliga spring split in 8th position, after having been part of an unfortunately dysfunctional Rebels Gaming roster.

This movement will be added to our Transfers Hub shortly after the publication of this article.
