After CarioK's rejection, FURIA looks to Tatu for 2025
FURIA are close to assembling their squad for the upcoming LTA South season. With the arrival of Thinkcard, formerly of NRG Head Coach, the Panthers are still in search of a top laner and a jungler.
According Sheep Esports sources, one of the most frontrunners for the jungle position is Pedro "Tatu" Seixas. The Brazilian jungler is a young player from paiN Gaming Academy who won CBLOL Academy Split 1 as well as the recent Americas Challengers tournament. FURIA previously tried to acquire CarioK, who ultimately turned down their offer.
Tatu, a promising young player on the Brazilian scene
Tatu has been making waves in the Brazilian League of Legends scene. In the last two years, he has won the CBLOL Academy twice and also won the inaugural Americas Challengers, the first international tournament between the Tier 2 leagues across the Americas.
paiN Gaming has chosen to not field an academy team for the foreseeable future and instead focus entirely on LTA South. As a result, most of their academy players have already announced that they are free to explore options for the 2025 season, including Tatu.
FURIA has declined to comment, citing their policy to not comment on market speculation.
