Multiple Italian champion and EMEA Master regular takes on a new challenge
Vittorio "Click" Massolo is set to join LUA Gaming in the LVP SuperLiga, according to Sources close to Sheep Esports. The support will be leaving Italy after more than three years with Macko Esports. The LFL could have been his final destination, as he was one of Gentle Mates' options, but the French team chose Robert “Erdote” Nowak, as previously reported by Sheep Esports. Click will therefore replace Ángel "DuaLL" Fernández Alvarez within the Summer 2024 promoted side.
Indeed, after winning the LVP SuperLiga 2nd Division Spring Split, LUA Gaming's fate changed when CASE Esports announced their withdrawal from Spain's top division. As a result, LUA Gaming made their grand entrance into LVP SuperLiga by taking over the slot left by the organization founded by footballer Casemiro. With the addition of Click to their roster, the newcomers will be eager to improve on their eighth-place LVP finish with a 7-11 record.
European experience
The Italian Support will be able to bring all his experience to the LUA Gaming roster. During his years in Italy, Click has won over seven national championship titles and has always qualified for at least one EMEA Masters Main Event a year since 2020. This brings his total number of participations in Europe's most prestigious competition to seven. His best result was a 3-4th place finish at the Summer 2023 edition after Macko's 3-0 defeat in the semi-final against Movistar Riders.
