Solary and JL go down, Gameward secures its first win
The fourth day of the LFL Spring Split has delivered its verdict. No LFL team remains undefeated. Reflecting the highly competitive level of the league, both Solary and Joblife suffered defeats, while Ici Japon Corp and Gameward pulled off surprises. The reigning Winter champions, Karmine Corp Blue, reassured their fans by showing a much stronger performance against BDS Academy.
Halfway through a long week
The two league leaders fell today, and no team remains undefeated in the Spring Split. Joblife crumbled against a re-energized Gameward, while Solary got caught in a chaotic, bloody match that spiraled out of control against Ici Japon Corp. After opening their split with two losses during last week's LFL Days, IJC has finally woken up and secured its second win of the split. Previous season’s EMEA Masters finalist and Flash In runner-up seems to have rediscovered the spark that defined its signature playstyle. They are now one of only two teams capable of pulling off a perfect superweek.
Vitality.Bee, living up to expectations, also dominated today, crushing the Galions, who are still struggling to find their footing in this split. In a league where the level of play is so tightly contested, someone has to lose. This time, it’s Gentle Mates who fall as well, beaten by BK ROG, a team steadily climbing the ranks and building momentum in the LFL Spring split. Today’s game confirms it once again, the arrival of Théo "Booshi" Mouchiroud in the roster seems to bring a lot of stability. The young AD Carry told us last week that his coaches see him as “the most consistent and high-performing rookie they’ve tested,” and it shows.
The LFL continues to entertain and shake up the deck that was dealt during the Winter Split. In a league where many teams are playing at a similar level, it’s hard to say who will truly take control of the Spring Split. For now, all eyes are on whether Solary can bounce back tomorrow as they kick off day 3 of this LFL super week against Gameward. Later on, we'll see if IJC and VITB can keep their perfect super week alive as they face M8 and BKR, respectively. As for the Winter champions, they’ll need to recover against a Joblife squad looking to ride the momentum from their strong start to the season.
