AL defeats BLG for the third consecutive best-of-five, including both LPL and MSI
Third consecutive best-of-five win for Anyone's Legend over Bilibili Gaming—first in the Upper Bracket Final of the LPL Split 2 playoffs, then in the Grand Final that crowned AL the best team in China, and now in the Lower Bracket at MSI. With a clean 3-0 victory, Coach Wong "Tabe" Pak Kan's squad moves on to face T1 in the Lower Bracket Final. The reigning World Champions fell 3-2 to the defending MSI champions, Gen.G.

First international appearance for Anyone's Legend, and they've already secured at least a Top 3 finish after their win over BLG. It’s the result of outstanding performances from the players, but also of excellent work from the coaching staff, led by head coach Tabe—formerly with Royal Never Give Up in 2021 and BLG in 2023. Tabe joined AL in 2024, but the team initially struggled to reach their current level. Only two changes were made in the offseason, with the arrivals of Li "Flandre" Xuanjun and Lee "Tarzan" Seung-yong. The new formula clicked quickly, leading to a finals appearance in Split 1 and a championship title in Split 2.
China’s last remaining team
China now knows which team will carry the LPL banner against the LCK giants—and it’s AL. In Game 1, BLG had a slight early lead, but couldn’t convert in the team fights. Luo "ON" Wen-Jun hit a massive five-man Neeko ultimate followed by Azir’s engage, but it still wasn’t enough to secure the win. Kim "Kael" Jin-hong stood out on Bard, delivering a solid performance. Game 2 was a clean 29-minute stomp led by Wang "Hope" Jie’s Lucian, with BLG once again failing to dictate the pace and getting outplayed across the board.
The final game was the longest of the series. Chen "Bin" Ze-Bin and Zhuo "Knight" Ding, playing Fiora and Akali, tried to step up and carry, but couldn’t turn things around. Yang "Beichuan" Ling and Luo "ON" Wen-Jun both died eight times, repeatedly caught out alone. AL briefly looked like they might drop a game, but recovered with confidence to complete the 3-0 sweep over BLG.
Overcoming T1 to reach Gen.G
So far, AL have played four best-of-five series at this MSI: an opening win against FlyQuest, a close loss to Gen.G, then back-to-back victories over CTBC Flying Oyster and BLG. It’s been a run that’s given them both experience and valuable data. On July 11 at 5 PM PST, AL will face a completely different kind of challenge in T1. Tarzan is set to go up against his former teammate and toplaner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon—someone he’ll need to overcome if he wants a shot at facing another familiar face, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon.
