At least one team from each region is guaranteed to qualify for Worlds
The first LTA South and North teams to qualify for the Regional Championship are starting to emerge following the opening playoff matches. FlyQuest and Shopify Rebellion have secured their spots in the Championship Finals after victories over Team Liquid and Cloud9. On the South Conference side, paiN Gaming defeated RED Canids, while Vivo Keyd Stars delivered a clean sweep over FURIA.
The first seeds from LTA North and South will start in the Upper Bracket “Juggernaut” match, while the second and third seeds begin in the Lower Bracket. All matches are best-of-five, with the top three teams qualifying for the 2025 Season World Championship in China, taking place from October 14 to November 9. Over $200,000 will be distributed among the six participating teams, with 39% going to the winner—$80,000.
Two remaining spots
The competition kicks off on September 13 and runs until September 28 for the grand final. Additionally, the winners of the two conferences are directly qualified for Worlds; this tournament will only determine seeding for them, while the remaining four teams will compete to decide the LTA’s final representative at Worlds. There are currently two remaining spots to be claimed for the Championship Finals. In the South, the spot will be contested between LOUD, Leviatan, Isurus, and Fluxo W7M, with each team aiming to secure their place among the top three and get one step closer to Worlds 2025.
In the North, the battle is even fiercer, as six teams—Disguised, Dignitas, LYON, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, and Team Liquid—vie for the final slot, each hoping to prove themselves in a highly competitive bracket. Playoffs for both conferences will resume on September 23, leading up to the two conference finals, which are scheduled to take place on September 7, ultimately determining the last teams to qualify for the Championship Finals.
