FlyQuest, Cloud9 KIA, 100Thieves, and Shopify Rebellion secured wins on the first day of LTA North’s Super Week.
Today in the LTA North Split 2 games, we saw everything - from straight-up stomps, to pretty even matchups. Small decisions flipped entire fights, and it was nothing short of entertaining. Super Week has just started, and the teams today showed up ready to fight!
FlyQuest dominated the early game with two early solo kills, setting midlaner Song "Quad" Su-hyeong and toplaner Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau up nicely heading into the midgame. Kacper "Inspired" Słoma’s early objective focus secured every Void Grub and the first dragon before 12 minutes, building a huge gold lead early and letting FlyQuest set the pace for the rest of the game.
The snowball kept rolling, but there wasn't a Nunu in sight. A 4v5 before Rift Herald still went FlyQuest’s way, and while LYON managed to ace them under their botside turret later on, the Atakhan buff meant the pressure never let up. FlyQuest stayed ahead, punished a risky midlane push, and snagged both Baron and Hextech Soul despite Fahad "Massu" Abdulmalek being down in gold.
They ended the game with a final 5v3 at LYON’s base, clocking a 10k+ gold lead and holding onto their undefeated streak this split.
This one started slow, with both sides trading heavy damage and objectives early. TL picked up the Chemtech Drake, while C9 grabbed the full set of Void Grubs. Neither team was willing to give an inch—until around 12 minutes, when TL picked off Robert "Blaber" Huang near his own blue buff for first blood.
That momentum didn’t last long. A sneaky Bard ult from Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme stopped the follow-up play in its tracks, and from there, C9 took control. A couple more catches on Eain "APA" Stearns, plus a well-executed fight around dragon, put Cloud9 firmly in the driver’s seat.
Despite TL trading some objectives, they couldn’t stop the momentum. Cloud9 secured Baron, wiped out the last turrets, and finished the game with a clean 13–3 score line. TL now ties LYON at 3–2 on the standings.
Dignitas vs. 100Thieves
This game got messy fast. DIG found blood early off as River ganked their botside, and the early brawl ended 2–2. Jett Michael "Srtty" Joye’s Sion ult helped DIG claim the Feat of Warfare, and by 12 minutes, DIG had a gold lead. The game was showing a lot of promise for Team Dignitas.
Jade "Sheiden" Libut and Frank "Tomo" Lam had some strong moments, including a snipe on Bill "Eyla" Nguyen after an almost casualty-free 4v4 topside. DIG even secured Atakhan, but the fight right after cost them everything.
100 Thieves clawed back through objective trades and skirmishes, eventually stealing a fight with a huge Viktor ult that led to a full ace. From there, it was a domino effect—mid inhib, Elder, Baron, Nexus. Dignitas showed early fire, but 100T closed it out with a textbook late game.
This match had started off a lot like C9 vs. TL, with both teams trading early objectives. DSG got Void Grubs, SR picked up Chemtech Drake, and First Blood went over to Juan Arturo "Contractz" Garcia, giving them the second group of Void Grubs easily.
DSG hit back hard at Rift Herald—Jeremiah "ScaryJerry" Leathe’s Miss Fortune ult melted Shopify Rebellion and gave DSG the Herald. Shortly after, a river skirmish saw Contractz drop early before Cristian "Palafox" Palafox and Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami tore through DSG’s defenses, leading their team to a decisive victory at Atakhan.
A risky tower dive onto ScaryJerry cost Shopify all five revives, but they stayed proactive. After splitting pressure on map, Shopify picked up another Mountain Drake, followed by a clean 5v5 mid that led into Baron and a base-breaking push down mid and bot.
The baron buff proved game-ending for DSG. Palafox and Fudge burned through the enemy team, securing the victory for Shopify Rebellion in 36 minutes.
