In the day’s opening series, Dplus KIA secured a win over DRX
T1 extend their win streak with a third consecutive victory in LCK Round 3-5, this time in a dominant 2-0 Telecom War against KT Rolster. It's now eight straight wins for T1 over KT, a streak stretching back over a year and underscoring their long-standing dominance in the rivalry. With this result, T1 move up to 14-5 in the standings, just one win behind Hanwha Life Esports — who still have a match to play.
In the first best-of-three of the day, Dplus KIA secured their second consecutive win in the Rise Group with a 2-1 victory over DRX. Game 1 dragged on for 50 minutes as Park "Teddy" Jin-seong and his team struggled to close out a match that was clearly within reach — but eventually managed to do so. DK then bounced back to equalize the series and force a game 3, which turned into a tight battle. DRX held the lead for much of the decider, but Choi "Lucid" Yong-hyeok on Viego was determined to turn the tide. Heo "ShowMaker" Su was named MVP of the series after posting a dominant 6/1/12 performance on Sylas.
T1 keep winning in the LCK
In this Telecom War, T1 made quick work of KT Rolster. Game 1 lasted just 26 minutes, with Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong dealing over 32,000 damage, Ryu "Keria" Min-seok once again showcasing the power of Neeko, and Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun putting on a standout performance on Xin Zhao—even stealing a pentakill from his AD Carry. Game 2 wrapped up just as fast, ending in 27 minutes and marking Oner’s 31st career win on Nocturne, pushing his win rate on the champion past 87%.
Tomorrow in the LCK, BNK FearX will look to end OKSavingsbank BRION’s undefeated run in Round 3-5. Later in the day, Nongshim RedForce will step onto the stage hoping to secure their first win of the split against Hanwha Life Esports. In the standings, DK are steadily securing a playoffs spot by beating their Rise Group opponents. They now sit at 12-9, a better record than KT and NS, who are in the group above. After their loss, KT drop to 11-10 and leave the door open for NS to catch up — though that's unlikely given NS’s upcoming matchup against HLE.
