Worlds anthem will be released on September 24 as a lot of theories are pointing towards a Linkin Park song
Worlds 2024 are on the starting blocks. One of the most prestigious esports events of the year is on its way, to close the season 14 of League of Legends. Indeed, the biggest international event of the year on Riot Games' MOBA will begin on September 25, with the Play-In Stage, until the 29th at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin. The Swiss Stage will then occur from 3 to 13 October, still at Berlin, followed by the quarter finals from 17 to 20 October and the semi finals on October 26 and 27. While both of these Knockout Stages will take place at the Paris' Adidas Arena, the Grand Final that will crown the best team in 2024 will be held at the O2 Arena, in London.
Make Them Believe
The slogan of the event is also known, "Make Them Believe" succeeds to "The Grind. The Glory". And when it comes to believing, indeed fans are all over the place especially concerning this year's anthem. Who will take over from NewJeans and their song "GODS"? Well, League of Legends Esports social media accounts seem to enjoy scattering clues here and there... The first one, a comment under Linkin Park's post with a crown emoji. As the mythic group is releasing a new album on November 15, a song on the tracklist is entitled "Heavy is The Crown".
That was all it took to fire up the community and rightly so since the theory has been amplified with the latest visual shared on social media with, once again, a crown to illustrate the Worlds anthem. We will have to wait until September 24, the day before the competition's kick-off, to find out. As of the Pick'Em, League enjoyers will have from 18 to 24 September to lock their bets, as Riot announced another good news for players: the 2024 Worlds skin will feature Viego, following Renekton in 2023. So, will the crown be too heavy for the Ruined King ?
