BLG and WBG will face off in grand final

After the Rumble Stage, seeds 1 (Bilibili Gaming) and 2 (LNG Esports) qualified directly for the semi-finals, in a double-elimination bracket. Seeds 3 to 10 first had to go through a three-round single-elimination bracket to join the top two teams, with a different number of rounds to be played depending on their seeding:

- Seeds 7 to 10 (FunPlusPhoenix, LGD Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and ThunderTalk Gaming) entered the competition in round 1
- Seeds 5 (JD Gaming) and 6 (Anyone's Legend) entered the competition in round 2 against the two winners of round 1
- Seeds 3 (Top Esports) and 4 (Weibo Gaming) entered the competition in round 3 against the two winners of round 2

All matches are played in BO5. After three weeks of competition, the two finalists are known: Bilibili Gaming and Weibo Gaming. And after a an undisputed series, BLG became the back-to-back LPL champions 2024 by defeating WBG 3-0 for the second time throughout this playoffs. LNG and Weibo qualified through Regional Finals

BLG will be LPL's first seed, by being crowned summer split champion. Thanks to its performance at the MSI, the LPL has four slots at Worlds this year, instead of three, which means Top Esports has qualified through Championship points, as the second Chinese seed.

The final two representatives from the region have be decided at the LPL Regional Finals, played in the days following the Summer Split Final (31st August-2nd September). The Regional Finals has been played by the four best teams over the whole year (not including the two teams that have already qualified). LNG, NiP, Weibo Gaming and JDG have be taking part in this tournament. LNG qualified as third seed after their win in the upper bracket against WBG (3-0) while Weibo faced JDG in the lower bracket, and qualified as fourth seed, like last year, after five disputed games (3-2).
