This tournament is a good opportunity for players across the continent to showcase their skills and secure spots on tier 1 teams ahead of the offseason.

If you missed the official announcement in June, the Americas Challengers is a week-long tournament featuring six of the best Tier 2 teams from North America, Brazil, and Latin America. The teams will be competing for a prize pool of $75,000 to determine who is the best team in the whole American continent. While the tournament serves as a stage for rising esports talent, it won’t have any bearing on the 2025 guest slots, which were announced earlier this year on June 11. The focus of the event will be purely on showcasing the skills and strategies of up-and-coming teams.

Best teams in America to fight over a week

The two finalists from Summer Split in the Brazilian, Latin American and North American Challengers leagues will participate. This includes paiN Gaming Academy, Fear x Starforge, WAP Esports, Fuego, Dragonsteel and Keyd Stars Academy. The tournament will run from September 14 to 21, with each day bringing new matchups. Here's the breakdown:

  • Single Round-Robin Stage: September 14-16
  • Knockout Stage: September 18-20
  • Finals: September 21

The tournament will feature a single round-robin best-of-one group stage, ensuring every team gets a shot at proving their worth in a head-to-head format. The top four teams from this stage will advance to the double-elimination Knockout Stage, where they will face off in the Full Fearless Draft mode. A champion will then be crowned after a week of competition.
